When I saw clamp that was on VSETT 9 and Rion on the street, I really liked the clamp for the VSETT 9 9, 9+, and 10+ more. I think the Rion clamp is strong but it just had a Velcro strap to hold it. The clamp on VSETT scooters was as strong as the Rion however it came with two extra security features.

It comes in a black and teal color which I’m sure my wife would love because she loves all things teal. It also locks its own when folded. The hook that holds it in place when folded, doubles up to become a bag hook when the scooter is folded.

The VSETT 9+ is very similar to the 9 but it is equipped with two motors instead of a single motor. It is available in the same shade of the 9. When I first looked at the VSETT line, I thought I was going to be most impressed by the 10+, however the 9+ is what surprised me the most.

It’s the VSETT 9+ is a dual 650 watt motor scooter, so I didn’t think much about it when reviewing it on a spec sheet. However, once I got a chance to ride the 9+ I was blown amazed at how quick and smooth the bike is. I was thinking that the 10+ was about to take off leaving the 9+ in the dust but it turned out to be capable of keeping up.

I normally gravitate towards the high powered scooters but I could definitely see my self having the 9+ for a regular driver. It was quick and light. (lightweight for me, but to some it might weigh 62 pounds.) I learned to bunny hop 9+ and was able to get plenty of air , even when you’re on flat terrain.

It does have an option for sport mode that can only activate for 2 minutes, and then take an interval of 10 minutes. I have heard people complain about this feature, but I find it to be an good way to prevent controller damage from overheating.

I love I love the fact that VSETT 10+ folds into itself when folded due to the fact that the ZERO 10X doesn’t make it hard for portability. The hook used to lock the scooter together doubles into a hook to hang the bag you carry or your helmet in the event of a trip to a shop.

The VSETT 11+ boasts dual 1500 watt motors, but is an 60V battery. I’d like to had come up with an a 72V battery, but I’m betting they’ll launch an equivalent 72V model in the future. It comes with two stems which is always a nice feature to ensure stability.

The 11+ has 11 inch tires which have a width of 4 inches. It also has an sport mode similar to the 10+, but it only lasts for 2 minutes , then it shuts off in 10 mins. It’s the biggest scooter in the VSETT line.

I wish the 11+ had the new clamp that we’re using on the 9+ and 10+. Instead, we are getting the same clamp used in the ZERO 11X. Not sure why they didn’t choose to use the new clamp, but I’d like to see it in future models. Vsett 8 Vs Vsett 9.
